MU alumna makes history with Superdome

Amanda Keith, who graduated from Manchester in 2004, was studying the National Register nomination process in an Economics and Business of Preservation class at Tulane University as part of the Master of Preservation Studies program.

Looking for a project, she chose the Superdome, a 40-year-old landmark on the New Orleans skyline. Her work resulted in the structure being been named to the National Register of Historic Places, despite an objection by the state.
