Manchester's Jared Bourff is Indiana AHPERD Outstanding Student of the Year
Jared Bourff of Elwood, Ind., has been selected as the Indiana AHPERD Outstanding Student of the Year.
The Manchester University junior will compete in the Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance district competition against five other Midwest students this summer. If selected, he will go on to the national competition.
The selection is based on academics and leadership, as well as service to their institution, community and the health and physical education profession.
