The Oak Leaves brings home 9 statewide awards
Katharine Ings, faculty advisor for The Oak Leaves, reports that the student newspaper took home nine statewide awards from the 2017 Indiana Collegiate Press Association contest.
Editors were Kalie Ammons, Emily Barrand and Sarah Farnam (Spring 2016); Sarah Farnam and Carly Kwiecien (Fall 2016), with design editor Jafet Garcia and online editor Karen Kanyike.

The Oak Leaves is published on Fridays 10 times a semester during the academic year. Established in 1913, the paper serves as a forum for community commentary and opinion, and as a vehicle for news that relates to the Manchester community.
