Love, laughter and opera take stage at Manchester
Manchester University Opera Workshop Players present “Love and Laughter” on Feb. 16 and 18.
The production features a Marx Brothers-style take on The Merry Widow by Franz Lehá and scenes from The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The Friday performance begins at 7 p.m., and the Sunday shows are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Wine Recital Hall on the North Manchester campus.
General admission is $7 with $5 for students 18 and under. Admission is free for MU students, faculty and staff. To buy tickets in advance, click here.
