Session at Toyota Round works toward a more welcoming North Manchester
What makes people feel at home? How does a community express hospitality?
As Wabash County pursues avenues to increase its population and Manchester University seeks to build enrollment, considering these questions can help each grow and flourish.
Join a community discussion from 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 in the Toyota Round of the Jean Childs Young Intercultural Center. It is at the intersection of College Avenue and East Street.
Manchester University Peace Studies Institute is co-sponsoring the event, "Hospitality in North Manchester," along with Potluck Justice.
Potluck Justice is a community-campus collaboration created as a means for members of the North Manchester community to gather in a shared space and connect individuals with resources in the pursuit of justice against the everyday forms of violence that shape our lives.
