Fisher selected for Leadership Institute of Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana
Marie Fisher, social media coordinator at Manchester University, is among those accepted to participate in the 2022 Leadership Institute of the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI).
“I am grateful for this opportunity YLNI and Manchester University has given me to participate in this program to enhance my leadership skills and expand my network in the Fort Wayne community,” she said.
A Fort Wayne resident, Fisher plays an integral role in communications at the University.
YLNI’s Leadership Institute connects young professionals with peers and their communities as they gain career skills.
Through hands-on instruction, small-group activities, personal reflection and sharing, participants are given the opportunity to develop their leadership potential.
Topics range from personality recognition and communication effectiveness to board stewardship and diversity in the workplace.
The program includes a kick-off event in the winter, six all-day sessions, and a graduation celebration in May.
She is also digital content coordinator at
MORE Magazine in Indianapolis. Before joining Manchester in 2021, Fisher was a community relations intern with the Indiana Donor Network, marketing and communications intern at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis.
