Manchester University Egg Hunt, Easter Bunny visit is April 2

The Easter Bunny makes his 22nd annual hop to Manchester University on Saturday, April 2, and all area children are invited.

Children ages 1 to 12 years will find lots to do at the free event beginning at 11:30 a.m. on the North Manchester campus.

The activities are hosted by MU student residents of East Hall.

In addition to the Egg Hunt, there will be face painting, chalk drawing, sack races and other field games, as well as photos with the Easter Bunny. To give little ones equal opportunity, activities are split into age categories: 1 to 6 and 7 to 12.

The Egg Hunt is at noon between East and Garver residence halls, off East Street. All children must register beforehand at the event and be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

“We are so excited for another year of fun, prizes, and great memories with the children of North Manchester. We are honored to bring this event again,” said Letha L. Parrott, East Hall director. The hall is home to about 200 MU students, and its volunteers will fill 1,000 plastic eggs with treats for the Egg Hunt.
