Sustainable Indiana honors MU’s Graduation Pledge

MU’s Graduation Pledge has been selected for induction into the Green Lights Legacy  Hall of Fame by Sustainable Indiana 2016.

Since 1988, Manchester has supported the voluntary pledge which states: “I pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of any job I consider and will try to improve these aspects of any organizations for which I work.”

Graduates who take the pledge wear green ribbons at commencement.

MU is one of 200 groups and individuals across Indiana whose efforts to promote a sustainable future are being honored.
