Why Choose Manchester for Nursing?

Whether you’re looking for a traditional small-town college experience (our TBSN Program where students spend their first two years in North Manchester) or you want to get hands-on in your field with many options to choose from (our ABSN Program in Fort Wayne), Manchester University has what nursing students want.

Get hands-on experience in your field

Accelerated nursing degree students learn in the state-of-the-art Mirro Center, where they can practice basic and advanced nursing skills using high-tech nursing simulation manikins that can mimic human reaction to illness.

As a nursing student at Manchester University, you’ll also engage with AR/VR experiences when learning anatomy and physiology through virtual dissection with the Anatomage®, which allows students to examine a 3-D virtual cadaver.

Individualize your learning experience

Each nursing student has a weekly practice day in a specialty area of their selection, where they will practice for a total of 168 hours under a registered nurse just prior to their graduation. This helps immerse the students in a real-life experience of working as a nurse.

Want to network with fellow nursing students? You can join the Nursing Club and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
