As we live with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have all had to make adjustments. At Manchester, we are focusing on helping our students become graduates of ability and conviction during a challenging time. We also are finding new ways to work and learn together which are designed to keep the MU community as healthy as possible.
Because Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s stay-at-home order started in March when we were working on the spring Manchester magazine, we could not finish it. And because the pandemic makes it more difficult to plan on some of the events and gatherings that usually fill our magazine pages, we are suspending magazine printing until the pandemic eases.
We will continue, however, to tell Manchester stories electronically through this newsletter and send it to you every two months, instead of every three months, until we can print Manchester magazine again.
An electronic newsletter helps us navigate a myriad of logistical challenges, conserve our resources, and reach more people than the printed magazine. Until we can print again, I hope you enjoy your more frequent @manchester newsletters.
