Mary Kathryn Fish Cooper ’48 Uhrig of North Manchester celebrated her 100th birthday on May 28, 2021.

Richard Harris ’68 of San Diego, Calif., was named one of the top 68 all-time basketball players in Indiana by Visit Indiana.
1970s
Anita Weaver ’79 Sherman of Zionsville, Ind., was congratulated by Greenwalt CPAs of Indianapolis for her 42 years of professional practice.

Trina Chapman-Smith ’85, a private practice physician in Auburn, Ind., was recognized on National Doctors Day by St. Martin’s Healthcare for her work as a volunteer doctor. She serves as their board president and medical director.

Mark Baer ’91 became chief executive officer of the public accounting, consulting and technology firm Crowe LLP in Columbus, Ohio in April. Mark also serves on the President’s Leadership Council of Manchester University.
James Wagoner ’95 (left) of Zionsville, Ind., will become managing partner at Greenwalt CPAs in Indianapolis on Jan. 1, 2022. He joined Greenwalt in 1997 and became partner in 2005.
Jason Taege ’97 of Elkhart, Ind., has joined Centier Bank of South Bend, Ind., as vice president of banking.

Regina Khan ’04 Lortie and her husband, Jay Lortie, celebrated 20 years of marriage in June, and recently built a home in Syracuse, Ind. Regina works at the University of Saint Francis as lead project and office manager in the Marketing Department.
Nickolaus Cripe ’06 of Fort Wayne has been named chief financial officer of SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect).
Erica Hedges ’09 Albertin has been promoted to athletic director at Goshen College.
2010s
Matthew Sarber ’10 was appointed judge of the new Marshall County Superior Court by Gov. Eric Holcomb. Matthew has served as a deputy prosecutor in Marshall County since 2016 and as a public defender in Marshall County and in private practice. He lives in Plymouth.
Cambria Teter ’11 Kolter and Ryan Kolter welcomed a little girl, Charlie, on May 30, 2021.
Kyle Fahey ’12 received the Emerging Leader Award from the Illinois Physical Therapy Association. The award is given to those who are developing leadership skills at a state or district level.
Joi Harmon ’12 of Indianapolis received her Certificate for Nonprofit Management in May.
Nick Barbknecht ’13 is serving as public affairs consultant at NB Strategies in Indianapolis.
Evan Denari ’13 began working at Apex Land Group in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
David Prokop ’13 has been named the boys head basketball coach at LaCrosse High School. He had been an assistant coach at Valparaiso High School for six years.
Wesley Heath ’14 has been promoted to associate director for cross-cultural affairs at Louisiana State University.
Kourtney Johnson ’14 Rogers graduated from Western Governors University with a Master of Business Administration. Kourtney works in the Office of Human Resources at Manchester University.
Ashlea Nash ’15 has joined the USA Softball National Office in Oklahoma City, Okla., as marketing coordinator.
Daniel Dieckemann ’18 is working as a business development specialist at JAGG Premium Roof Systems, located in Indianapolis and Plainfield, Ind.
