May 19 was the best of all days at Manchester University – commencement, a day of family, celebration and re-dedication when graduating seniors and their loved ones celebrate the end of four years of hard work and sacrifice, the future that lies ahead and the Manchester mission of making a difference in the world around us. Evan Bayh, former U.S. senator and Indiana governor, received an honorary doctorate in humanities and charged graduates to love America and love their fellow Americans. Manchester graduate Harry Keffer ’59 and his wife Jan also received honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees.
