Posted April 12 - Cassie Gohn, assistant professor of biology, presented her research April 9 at the Beyond Boundaries Indiana Academies Symposium.  Her project, The effect of maternal cannabidiol oil use on murine prenatal development, is a compilation of data collected by her student researchers in BIOL-108L (2020 Spring cohort) and MU seniors Kendra Davis and Hallie Sorg.

Posted April 12 - Cassie Gohn, assistant professor of biology, has been elected president-elect of the Indiana Physiological Society for 2021-22. She will serve as president for the 2022-2023 term.

Posted April 6 - A composition by Tim Reed, associate professor of music, will be performed at New Music on the Bayou, a combination conference and festival, in June. “Pelican Bay” is a live piece for flute and electroacoustic audio. Posted April 5 - A concert work by Tim Reed, associate professor of music, has been accepted for the upcoming Society of Composers Online National Conference. The video piece is titled, "...the land that happened inside us..." SCI is the main professional organization for composers in the United States.

The Importance of Strategic Planning in Enrollment Management During Challenging Times” on March 22. The event was an American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Admissions Workshop, Leadership in Enrollment Management.

Posted March 17 - Jason Isch, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, co-presented “Not Just a Heart Attack, Utilizing Motivational Interviewing to Optimize Patient Care” Feb. 24 at the annual meeting of the Indiana Pharmacists Association.

Posted March 11 - Stacy Erickson-Pesetski, professor of English and associate dean of Academic Affairs, and Tim McKenna-Buchanan, associate professor of communication studies, will participate in a workshop in July in Washington, D.C. The Council of Independent Colleges will bring together faculty members from about 20 institutions to explore “Deliberation & Debate: Advancing Civil Discourse through Courses for First-Year Students.” 

Posted March 8 - A composition of Tim Reed, associate professor of music, titled “Three Moments” (for alto saxophone, cello and fixed digital media) will be presented March 17 at the National Saxophone Alliance Conference at Hope College in Michigan.

“Three Moments” also will be presented March 19 in a virtual concert at Ball State University.
