American Chemical Society
ACS is for students who are interested in chemistry. Often, that means chemistry or biology-chemistry majors, but we welcome any student who would like to learn more about chemistry! Our yearly agenda includes of monthly meetings, a celebration of National Chemistry Week, visiting speakers, field trips, a Christmas banquet, and an end-of-the-year party. Club dues are $5 and provide food at meetings and parties. You are also invited to become a national member of ACS, which is $20 for students.
For more information about ACS, contact the ACS faculty advisor (Associate Professor Kathy Davis), any other member of the chemistry faculty, or the person from whom you borrowed your chemistry notes.
