Recipient of the Sargent Shriver Award by the National Peace Corps Association, and an honorary doctorate from Manchester College, Loren Finnell is a member of the Manchester College Class of 1964.

He composed a draft of a autobiography entitled, "Still a County Boy.....After having been around the world a couple of times, The memoirs of Loren Finnell." In this manuscript Loren relates his experience at Manchester College, including a clandestine trip to Washington, D.C. for a "Ban the Bomb" demonstration.

The first full-time General Secretary of the General Sunday School Board in the Church of the Brethren, Ezra Flory, minister, elder, and educator, was the father of MC alumnus, Paul Flory. Ezra Flory received his Master of Arts degree from Manchester College in 1918.

Detailed description of two Forensics boxes filled with materials. Included are newspaper articles, scrapbook, manuscripts from oratorical contests written by MC students: Fujii, Butler, Thomas, Childs, Dye, Mendenhall, Hoffman...and much, much more.

On 12 June 1958, Carl Waldo Holl received a College Chemistry Teacher Award from the Manufacturing Chemists' Association (MCA).

Chemistry Professor Emeritus Ed Miller's book and notebook used while he was a student at Manchester College: "Laboratory Outlines and Notebook for Organic Chemistry,"1953, along with his personal "Laboratory Manual," for Chemistry 105, 106, 107. 

Elder Robert Henry Miller, minister in the Church of the Brethren had a son, Manchester College Professor Robert Henry Miller, a minister as well.  The accession page gives information about both father and son. MC2009/87 is the manuscript of an unpublished book by Professor R. H. Miller, "Comments on the Gospel of John."

Topics of import include; prohibition, economic recovery from the Great Depression, and Hitler's impact on Europe. Schutz was a contemporary of Andrew Cordier who participated in some of Schutz's political involvements.
