Residence hall computer labs are open 24/7 to their residents. The labs in red are open 24/7 if you arrive before the building closes and have your University ID.

Illegal File Sharing

Illegal file sharing of copyrighted materials such as music, movies, or software is strictly forbidden. Technology is deployed to prevent illegal file sharing on campus. Policy violations can lead to revocation of network access.

Personally-owned Computer Support

ITS offers limited hardware and software support for personally-owned equipment.

Printing with the Printing@MU System

Available in all computer labs.
Available from personal computers via: https://printing.manchester.edu.
Cost is $0.05 per side for black & white and $0.12 per side for color.

Residence Hall Network Access

Wireless and wired internet access is available.
Personally-owned routers are not permitted on the network. Wired switches are permitted.
Operating systems should have the latest security updates installed.
Windows PCs should have an updated anti-virus program. Please be aware that Microsoft will soon terminate Windows 7 support.

Using the software-based or VoIP phones

On campus phone number:	Enter the 4-digit extension.
Local phone number:	Press 6 then enter the number.
Long distance:	Press 6 then follow your calling card’s instructions.
Collect calls:	An additional $25 charge per call applies.

Wireless Network Coverage across Campus

Wireless network access is available on a majority of campus. Connect to MUWiFi and login to access the wireless network.
