What services does CPD have that I can take advantage of?
We offer a variety of programs to assist you in supporting students. Take a look at our list of class presentations and workshops and

How do I request a program or presentation by CPD?
Simply email or call 260-982-5242 and a member of our team will partner with you to help students.
What is Spartan Jobs?
Spartan Jobs is our online job board that we use to post all internship and job opportunities sent to us. This also houses all of the on-campus job opportunities.
All students have an account and login with the same information they use to login to the MU network. We can create faculty/staff accounts if you wish to see what is available to students. Email us for
more information.
How do you connect students and alumni with employers?
We host a variety of events throughout the year that are free to students and
alumni. In addition, we host employer presentations, on-campus interviews, and career panels where we invite a variety of local and national employers. If you have an employer in mind or a contact you would like to share, please reach out to our office
via email or at 206-982-5242.
Do you visit departmental meetings?
Yes. To schedule a professional staff member to visit/speak at your department meeting please contact CPD at 260-982-5242.
What events can faculty and staff attend?

Why do students see you?
We help students understand who they are, where they’re going and how to get there. We work with students on career exploration, including understanding their strengths, interests and values. We also help students with the internship, graduate school
and job search process, including developing materials such as cover letters, resumes, and personal statements.
What services do you provide for students?
We offer many services including: career coaching, resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, job and internship search assistance, graduate school resources, and much more. Check out our students tab to

How do students make an appointment?
Students may stop by the Success Center or email us to set up an appointment.
Can I refer alumni to the Office of Career and Professional Development?
Absolutely! We offer the same assistance to alumni as currently enrolled students.
What if a student is not on the North Manchester Campus?
A member of our team conducts office hours on the Fort Wayne Campus twice a month. Encourage the student check with Student Affairs for availability. We also offer phone and Skype appointments. They may email our office for more details.
