Academic Support offers tutorial support in course-specific study sessions throughout the semester for a variety of classes.  Peer tutors (students who are recommended by faculty members) explain course material and answer questions students may have.  Students enrolled in courses with tutoring sessions can access the schedule through the Tutoring Course on their Canvas Dashboard.  The schedule is also emailed to students, and hard copies are available at the front desk of the Success Center. In-person and remote sessions via Zoom are available.

Students may request a tutor at any point in the semester by contacting Diana Nettleton or by visiting the front desk of the Success Center.

Students interested in tutoring should apply for the position using Spartan Jobs. Minimum requirements include:

• a cumulative GPA of 3.0
• have a final grade of B in the course they are interested in tutoring
• faculty recommendation
