Kenneth Brown, Religion and Philosophy: Protests

On 13 May 1969, a mass marriage ceremony and tent-in took place on the Manchester College campus.  The purpose was to initiate a "change in attitude...tak[ing] the form of students assuming freedom and responsibility in determining the direction of their lives."

Two-page document entitled "MCA Organization," 4-page document entitled "The Manchester Christian Association," reading list entitled "Steps Toward Stature," 4-page document entitled "The Community of Faith and Action," memorandum clarifying the position of the college to not hold church services on Sundays on campus (dated 1965).
