About: Help protect your health and the environment by reducing plastic waste at Manchester University. Goal: To reduce and hopefully eliminate all plastic bottles on the MU campus
Solution: To educate the University community about the impacts of plastic bottles and to promote the use of reusable water bottles
We hope to encourage and finalize a switch to reusable bottles instead. Many people believe that because something is plastic, it is recyclable. This is not the case. Other colleges, universities, and well-known organizations have already taken the step towards eliminating waste from water bottles. Now, it's our turn.
