FALL SEMESTER - 15 credits

  • Introduction to Nursing (online) - 3 Cr.
  • Pathophysiology for Nursing - 3 Cr.
  • Health Assessment for Nursing with Lab - 4 Cr.
  • Fundamentals of Nursing (84 hours of clinical)  - 5 Cr.

JANUARY TERM - 2 credits

  • Nursing Calculations (online) - 2 Cr.

SPRING SEMESTER - 17 credits

  • Pharmacology for Nursing - 3 Cr. 
  • Adult Health 1 (126 clinical hours) - 6 Cr.
  • Maternal Newborn and Women's Health Nursing (42 clinical hours) - 4 Cr.
  • Pediatric Nursing (42 clinical hours) - 4 Cr.

SUMMER SEMESTER - 17 Credits

  • Research for Evidence-based Practice - 3 Cr.
  • Mental Health & Wellness (42 clinical hours) - 4 Cr.
  • Nursing in the Community (42 clinical hours) - 4 Cr.
  • Adult Health 2 (126 clinical hours) - 6 Cr.

Year 2

FALL SEMESTER - 14 Credits

  • Nursing Care of the Critically Ill (42 clinical hours) - 4 Cr.
  • Preparation for Practice (hybrid) - 3 Cr.
  • Capstone Practicum and Leadership in Nursing (168 clinical hours) - 7 Cr.


* 65 credit hours total
* 4 semesters and 1 January Term
* Must maintain a 3.0 GPA with a C average in all classes
* All nursing courses require a minimum 75% test average
* 756 total clinical hours
