Sports Communication is an interdisciplinary field combining elements of communication studies, journalism, public relations, and sports management. Students enrolled in MU's Sports Communication Minor will gain skills in media literacy, public relations, media production, sports broadcasting that will be enhanced with unique internship opportunities In short, a minor in sports communication gives you insight into communication studies with an emphasis from the perspective of athletics.
