Dr. Yousif Rojeab joined Manchester University in July 2022 as Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics. He spent the past 15 years on the faculty at the Raabe College of Pharmacy, Ohio Northern University. Dr. Rojeab earned his B.Sc. in Pharmacy in 1999 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. in 2007 in Pharmaceutics from the University of Houston, TX. He is also a licensed pharmacist in the states of Ohio and Michigan, and he practices the profession as staff pharmacist at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH. Current research in Dr. Rojeab’s lab involves two main areas. First is the physicochemical characterization, preformulation, formulation and delivery of anti-cancer agents. The second research area involves bioavailability and bioequivalence evaluations of novel and conventional orally administered solid dosage forms in man. In his leisure time, Dr. Rojeab likes to travel the world, watch NBA basketball and plays soccer.
