Dr. Wamburu has over a decade of distinguished clinical experience and teaching and has served in various roles in the health care spectrum, from teaching pharmacy at Kenyatta University, where she also directed collaborations and partnerships to improve capacity and clinical practice, to serving as the regional director of the World Surgical Infection Society for Sub-Saharan Africa. As a clinical pharmacist with Indiana University Health, she worked with the hospital team to produce patient-centered results while precepting students for clinical pharmacy preparation.

With these experiences and passion for teaching and community she is excited to be part of the Manchester University family.
