Our Career Fair and Interview Day will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016. This will be a great day for employers and residency programs to meet our student body, over 290 students. Our Class of 2017, who are currently on the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations, will all be returning to campus for this informative event. In addition, there will be space available for interviews to take place as well.

We have four classes that make up our student body – the first three years are spent on the Fort Wayne campus and completing their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) rotations and the fourth year is spent on Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations.

Career Fair
Our Career Fair will feature an exhibit hall atmosphere for employers to display information and have the opportunity to interact with our students. Each class has been scheduled throughout the morning to help exhibitors know who they will be speaking with during the fair.
The Career Fair registrants will receive an exhibit table, chairs, breakfast and lunch. The classes will have staggered attendance during the fair, due to Friday’s course schedule for the P1, P2 and P3 classes.

Interviews
This day will also provide employers with an opportunity to interview for pharmacist positions, as well as internships and other experiences. All pharmacist position interviews will be conducted in the morning – coinciding with the Career Fair exhibit and the availability of our P4 students. Due to P4 program requirements, there are no P4 interview opportunities available after 11 a.m. Intern interviews will be held in the afternoon, due to the class schedules of our P1, P2 and P3 students.
