Program Opportunities
- Major in All Grade Education: choral music, instrumental music, human performance (physical education) and visual arts
Overview
"Shaping tomorrow's teachers today" is the cornerstone of our All Grade Education program. The all grade programs in choral music, instrumental music, human performance (physical education) and visual art are some of the most popular at Manchester University and have an extensive 125-year history. Graduates successfully complete licensure programs to work with students in preschool through 12th grade. Classroom teaching experiences each semester ensure that our students have the best skills possible to work with young people of all ages. Our state-of-the-art curriculum aligns courses together so that you'll take less, learn more, and leave our program with licenses to teach in all school settings: elementary schools, middle schools and high schools.
Program Highlights
- Graduates earn licenses through the state of Indiana, where our accreditation is recognized, as well as nationally with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
- 96 percent of our graduates have their own classroom positions within six months of graduation – an unheard-of statistic. Our students love to teach and are incredibly successful once they begin working as teachers in their fields.
